Privacy Policy

1. Definitions

"Company" refers to Careful Kelly Removals. "Client" refers to the individual or organization hiring the Company’s services. "Services" include all removal, packing, storage, and related services provided by the Company. "Goods" refer to the items entrusted by the Client to the Company for handling or transport.

2. Quotations and Bookings

All quotations provided by the Company are free, non-binding, and valid for 28 days from the date of issue. Bookings are confirmed once the Client accepts the quotation in writing or by email. The Company reserves the right to revise the quotation if the scope of work changes, if there are unexpected delays or access restrictions, or if additional services are requested by the Client.

3. Services Provided

Careful Kelly Removals provides local, national, and international removal services. This includes packing, export wrapping, and storage solutions. Special attention is given to fragile, antique, or high-value items, including pianos. The Company is fully insured for all Goods it handles and transports.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client must ensure that all Goods are ready for removal at the agreed time. Accurate information about the nature, quantity, and any special handling requirements of the Goods must be provided. The Client must also inform the Company of any access restrictions and arrange suitable parking at both the pickup and delivery locations. Hazardous, perishable, or prohibited items must not be included in the shipment.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless agreed otherwise in writing. The Company accepts payment by cash, bank transfer, and major credit or debit cards. Late payments may result in interest charges or additional fees.

6. Cancellation and Postponement

Cancellations made more than seven days before the scheduled service date will not incur a fee. Cancellations within seven days may be charged up to 50% of the quoted price. Postponements are subject to availability and may be subject to rescheduling charges.

7. Liability and Insurance

The Company maintains insurance for loss or damage to Goods during transit or handling. Its liability is limited to the replacement cost or repair value of the affected items, whichever is lower. The Company accepts no liability for items packed by the Client without Company supervision, delays caused by traffic or weather, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

8. Claims

Any claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within seven days of delivery. Claims should be supported by relevant evidence such as photographs, invoices, or descriptions.

9. Storage Services

Storage services are available upon request and governed by separate terms and conditions. Clients are responsible for ensuring that stored items are adequately insured during the storage period.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted under the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
